Our consulting approach is simply different. It's more than "thinking outside the box", it's going against the flow of traditional thinking and doing. It's expanding our view of life and in many ways, going back to the basics and what matters most; our relationships and experiences.
Changing the systems, programs and services that impact adults and children with disabilities or chronic conditions requires us to listen, and act on, the ideas of those who live within the "systems" society has created. "Nothing about us, without us" is not just a term of art.
We believe that ALL people are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27, Ephesians 2:10) and have a purpose in life (Ecclesiastes 3:1, Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 16:9 and 19:21).
Traditionally, systems, programs and services prevent or delay opportunities for each person to uniquely live their purpose.
Our goal is to help state and federal agencies, community-based organizations, providers, foundations, and advocates to transform these systems, programs and services enabling ALL people to freely live.

At C-R Consulting, our mission is to help people thrive. We do this by providing "consulting with heart" tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our team is committed to strategic partnership and top-notch results that exceed expectations.
At C-R Consulting, we use the right combination of capabilities built on our experiences to identify what works best to address the unique needs of our clients. We are certified in project management and planning, trained in person-centered practice
and offer a diverse set of services such as active decision-making support and strategy, organization and system transformation, program and policy design and implementation, operational and administrative support, learning and diffusion of practices such as technical assistance, training curriculum development and facilitation of “all teach, all learn” models, and engagement with people who receive supports and their families and other stakeholders through focus groups, town halls, and survey and feedback sessions.
At C-R Consulting, we offer something different. Our approach is to go against the typical way of thinking and doing. We have a well-rounded experienced team who believes making a program or policy work starts with the engagement of people administering, using, or impacted by the program/policy.
It's not about where you have been, but where you are going. We believe in building on what works well and finding inner creativity and opportunities to innovate.
At C-R consulting, it is a blessing to work with so many partners including federal and state agencies, community-based organizations, advocates, national associations, providers, and foundations to change the way people of all ages with disabilities understand, access, and use the system of supports to reach their goals in life. Every encounter is a relationship we value. When you engage with us, you forge a relationship that extends beyond the end of any consultant agreement. We remain a confidant and source of help no matter where you are in the journey to continually improve programs and services.
